I have found suitable modules for me, what are the next steps?
You must coordinate the module selection with the departmental advisor / academic coordinator of the department to which you are assigned at THM.
The departmental advisor / academic coordinator at the THM will check if you have the prerequisites for the module. Therefore, you have to provide him/her with a Transcript of Records from your home university. He/she can best judge whether you fulfill the prerequisites (also linguistically).
DEPARTMENTAL ADVISOR / ACADEMIC COORDINATOR AT THE THM
At the latest, during our Pre-Arrival Session you will find out who your THM departmental advisor / academic coordinator is. This will take place on March 11, 2022 via Zoom. The exact time and Zoom link will be announced soon.

THInC - INTERNATIONAL SEMESTER (30 ECTS)
In this section you will find - the English-language course offerings for exchange students with 30 ECTS - Degree Seeking Programmes
The prerequisite for participation in the THM International Campus Programme THInC is that your field of study or knowledge in your home country matches the programme offered and you are nominated as an exchange student of a partner university of the THM.
The exchange programme is open to students from our partner universities who wish to complete one or two semesters at the THM Business School. Exchange students can choose from a range of business administration modules taught in English. If they have sufficient knowledge of German, they are welcome to attend our modules taught in German.
Requirements
In order to take part in our exchange programme it will be important that:
you are enrolled at one of our exchange partner institutions
your home university agrees to your degree plan
you will have completed 90 ECTS at your home university upon arrival
you have sufficient knowledge of English to follow lectures, read texts and actively participate in group work (CEFR level B2 recommended).
Moreover, you should be prepared to meet people with different cultural backgrounds and to improve your German and English language skills.
Please note: Before submitting your application, you should first contact the international/study abroad office at your home university to obtain approval for your study abroad period at the THM Business School.

Business Information Systems / Computing B.Sc. (offered in the spring semester only)
This exchange programme is offered every spring semester (Feb - July). It is open to exchange students from our partner universities enrolled in Computer Science, Business Informatics or related topics such as Software Engineering and who wish to complete one semester at THM.

The BSc programme in Logistics Management provides a broad range of competencies that prepare graduates for careers in a wide range of business sectors. The Department of Management and Communication established its current BSc programme in 2011 with a standard study period of seven semesters (210 ECTS). Nearly 500 students are currently enrolled in the programme. The academic year is divided into two semesters: an autumn semester, which runs from October to February and a spring semester from March to July. The majority of compulsory modules are taught in German. In addition, some compulsory courses and several very popular compulsory elective modules are offered in English. Furthermore, some courses are often taught by guest lecturers who normally work as project managers at well-known companies and also by lecturers from partner universities.
Modules available for exchange students
Prospective exchange students can choose from a portfolio of courses taught in English up to 30 Credits (ECTS) per semester. One ECTS credit is equal to 30 hours of student work. 60 ECTS credits are equal to one academic year. Logistics modules provide in-depth knowledge, highlight contemporary issues in logistics and the versatility of applications while general business administration and economics modules provide broad basic knowledge.
Supply Chain Management M.Sc. (offered in the spring semester only)
MSc Programme in Supply Chain Management
The objective of this application-oriented MSc programme is to provide students a broad knowledge and skills in global supply chain management, so that they are able to understand and critically analyse supply chain management problems and to meet current and future needs in their supply chain management profession. Therefore the programme provides students with advanced training in strategy development and modern supply chain management practices, analysis methods and frameworks, technology application and other relevant skills, e.g. problem-solving, multicultural communication and negotiations, teamwork and leadership.
Start and duration of the programme
The MSc degree programme in Supply Chain Management is a consecutive study programme which connects to the undergraduate BSc programme of the THM in Logistics Management. It begins in April each year and comprises a standard study period of one and a half year. The academic year is divided into two semesters: A summer semester, which runs from April to July and a winter semester from October to February.
Course contents
The study programme covers primarily business studies and information technology contents. Additionally methods of Operations Research in order to support decision processes are taught. Moreover, the programme is complemented by reasonably chosen sociological, psychological, legal and ethical aspects.
International semester - Modules available for exchange students
The international semester is open to exchange students from our partner universities enrolled in Business Administration, Logistics and Operations Management or related topics such as Technology Management and Industrial Engineering and who wish to complete one semester at THM.
