weltwärts - development volunteer service of the German Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development (BMZ)
"Learning by actively helping" is the volunteer service's motto. Along with other organizations this Federal Ministry (BMZ) gives people the opportunity to be active volunteers in developing countries.
"Are you between the ages of 18 and 24, are you open to cultural diversity and do you want to do voluntary work in a developing country? Then help us to promote sustainable development work and practice your commitment to a better world. The new volunteer service of the German Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development (BMZ) makes it possible for young people to get involved and perform volunteer work in developing countries. Financial aid is provided for a period from six to 24 months."
Peru: Internship Website
The German - Peruvian Chamber of Commerce and Industry has recently initiated an internship website that targets students. The goal of this new service is to bring German students in contact with companies in Peru fast and without a lot of red tape so they can use their knowledge and abilities there to bring development work forward.
