International applicants who wish to study for a Master's program at THM and have completed their Bachelor's degree abroad should submit their applications to

How does the application process via uni-assist work? How do I prepare my application?
Prepare your documents, register on the Myassist portal, and apply online. Please complete the application form for your desired study place (admission) and all other uni-assist forms, and upload your documents to your account.
Provided your documents meet the formal application requirements, uni-assist will notify you and forward the documents to THM . Your application will then be reviewed for content by the relevant Department at THM .
THM will then inform you whether you have been offered a place of study (admission) and will tell you about and explain the next steps.
Should your documents (certificates and language skills) not meet the application requirements for THM , you will be notified by uni-assist and your documents will remain with uni-assist.

German language skills - for German-language Degree Courses
Language level for application: To apply to THM (preparatory college, Bachelor's or Master's degree), you need at least a certificate at level B2 of the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages THM by uni-assist .
Language level required for studying: Before you can enroll at THM , you must have achieved at least a DSH-2 or an equivalent certificate

THM cooperates with Justus Liebig University Giessen (JLU) and offers German courses from C1 level up to the DSH exam for international prospective students and applicants. You will receive an invitation from us to the preparation course for the DSH exam.
If you are interested in a course at levels A1, A2, B1 or B2, please apply directly via the uni-assist portal at Justus Liebig University Giessen (JLU).
Enrollment is the final step before you can begin your studies.
After you have received a place at university, you will receive a message via the applicant portal informing you which documents you still need to upload for enrollment.
Only applicants who have been accepted will be asked to upload further documents (via the e-campus).
Enrollment certificate = certificate of enrollment
The certificate of enrollment is proof that you are registered at THM . You can present this document to your health insurance provider, the immigration office, the student services organization, etc. You must download this document yourself from the e-campus. To do this, you must first activate your THMaccount.
Application for higher semesters/university transfer students
International students wishing to be admitted to a higher semester at THM must apply directly to THM . However, this is only possible if you have already studied and completed coursework.
The Welcome Day marks the beginning of your studies. It is organized by the International Office for international students (first-semester students in Bachelor's and Master's degree courses ).
On Welcome Day You will receive important information about the start of your studies and get to know the International Office as well as other international students. Regardless of your study location, the Welcome Day takes place on Giessen Campus instead of.
