The German-American Fulbright Commission (Fulbright Germany) enables cross-border international understanding through academic exchange. As the only binational exchange organization in Germany with a USA focus, scholarships are awarded for study, research, teaching and Professional Development stays in the USA and Germany.

The travel grants from Fulbright Germany can be Not Combine with other scholarships if these are awarded for a purpose comparable to the travel scholarship or if they are closed scholarship programmes whose services include the financing of travel expenses (e.g. DAAD individual scholarships, funding within the framework of ISAP, BachelorPlus).
