If you are planning a stay abroad with the Erasmus+ programme, you can apply for a financial subsidy for a stay with children.
BAföG abroad
You can apply for foreign BAföG for a stay abroad. If this is approved, you will receive a flat-rate childcare allowance.
child support
It persists entitled to child benefit, provided the stay abroad done as part of the training and the student afterwards returns to Germany.
If the student still under 25 years is old, the Parents' entitlement to child support also for the time of the foreign phase.
Of the grant, which you get in Germany for the kindergarten costs (depending on income), cannot be taken abroad. The German office takes over no care costs abroad.
