The registration for the Erasmus+ BIP Sparking International Collaboration – Sharing Best Practices from the European Universities Alliances Erasmus+ Staff Training Week at TalTech is still open. Three members of the EuroTeQ alliance – Technical University of Munich (TUM), Czech Technical University in Prague (CTU) and Tallinn University of Technology (TalTech) – are inviting staff from Higher Education Institutions engaged in the work of a European Universities Alliances project at their home university in Tallinn, Estonia.

WHEN?
Virtual part: May 7th, 2024 from 2 p.m. – 4 p.m (Estonian time).
On-site programmes: May 20, 2024 – May 24, 2024, Tallinn.

We have planned 5 different topics (50% Mobility, Marketing, Internationalization, Innovative learning options (eg, BIP), and Alumni of the alliances) to be discussed on each day. During the programme, we will offer keynote presentations given by the three organizing partners, and we will hear presentations presented by the participants. The programme includes round-table discussions and hands-on workshops.

The TalTech Staff Training Week will be organized as an Erasmus+ Blended Intensive Programme (BIP). Therefore, please note that it is mandatory to participate in the virtual and on-site programme.

Founded as a public university on the 20th of May, 1955, in Trabzon, Karadeniz Technical University (KTU) is the fourth oldest university in Turkey. KTU has more than 30000 students studying at short cycle, bachelor, master and PhD levels. How international is your studies? We want to investigate this question together with the German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD) and therefore cordially invite you to take part in a nationwide student survey.

Among all participants there will be around 400 prizes worth over 18,000 euros will be raffled off, including notebooks, tablets and vouchers that can be redeemed at over 500 providers, e.g. B. at Amazon, Zalando, IKEA, Thalia or MediaMarkt (details about the raffle can be found on the survey homepage). The project is financed by the Federal Ministry of Education and Research (BMBF). The aim is to compare the internationality of the participating universities and to find out where the universities' support offers make sense and how they can be improved.

We would therefore be very happy if you would support this project by taking part in the survey. The information provided by students who are not interested in staying abroad is also important for the significance of the results and therefore represents valuable feedback.

The duration of the survey is around 15-25 minutes, depending on your personal situation. Participation is until February 5th, 2024 possible. You can interrupt the survey at any time and resume it at the same point at a later time.

The CESI University in France offers January/February 2024 two positions for research internships in Lyons and Rouen at. The offer is aimed at master students of engineering sciences. The internships can also be included Erasmus +  be promoted.
