UPM invites employed staff working under Erasmus+ and other programmes to the International Staff Week com 3-7 July 2023 in Madrid.

Participants will have the opportunity to meet with UPM internationalization staff and visit UPM schools and institutions to learn about their activities and services and share experiences, develop relationships with their partners within the expand the EELISA alliance coordinated by UPM. In addition, an insight into the Spanish language and culture is provided.

The Steuben-Schurz-Gesellschaft eV (SSG), the oldest German-American friendship organization in Germany, was founded more than 60 years ago to promote German-American relations in the areas of society, culture and politics.
In 1999, SSG came up with the idea for the USA Interns Programme, a German-American internship programme. The programme arranges internships for students of all disciplines from German and American universities with the aim of getting to know the partner country better. Programme participants get a practical insight into culture, history and everyday working life in the host country.

The aim of the programme is to provide an insight into the Taiwanese cultural and scientific landscape in cooperation with the National Science and Technology Council - NSTC in Taiwan. The stay is possible at universities and research institutions in Taiwan.

A stay fixed to the period of August/September is funded, which is divided into the following sections:

• one-week introductory seminar with cultural excursions, introductory language course and culinary experiences
• Approximately two-month research stay at university or non-university research institutes
