We would like to inform you of our next International Staff Week, which will be held at the International Balkan University (IBU) in Skopje, North Macedonia between the 24th and 28th of April 2023.

The ASA programme offers development policy exchange and engagement for students and people with vocational training. It comprises a project phase lasting at least three months in countries in Africa, Asia, Latin America and Southeast Europe, as well as preparatory and follow-up seminars. On behalf of the German Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development (BMZ), Engagement Global awards 280 scholarships every year.

The DESY Summer Student Programme will take place between July 18 and September 7, 2023.

Students who are studying physics, related natural sciences or computer science are offered the opportunity to take part in the day-to-day activities of the research groups in laboratories in Hamburg and Berlin.

The St. Pölten University of Applied Sciences will again be offering courses in the fields of media and digital technologies between June 26th and 30th, 2023. These will take place in a hybrid form (onsite or online). More information about the individual courses can be found on the Webseite find the university.

Apart from a payment of €21.20 to the Austrian student association and any material costs, participation in the courses is free of charge.

The programme consists of industrial placements for EU / SMP-COSME* students. It starts in September and ends in August of the following year in order to accommodate the academic year in EU Member States.

The students follow:

a seminar on Japan,
a four-month intensive Japanese language course,
and then an eight-month traineeship in a Japanese company.

The aim of the programme is to offer German graduates the opportunity to take part in a language and practice-oriented programme in China. The scholarship holders are given the opportunity to learn the Chinese language thoroughly and experience the country's culture and economy first-hand. The DAAD as a university organization and the Federal Ministry of Education and Research (BMBF) see this programme as a contribution to the training of China experts in business, administration and industry.

The aim of the programme is to offer German graduates the opportunity to take part in a language and practice-oriented programme in Japan. The scholarship recipients will have the opportunity to learn the Japanese language from scratch and experience the country's culture and economy first-hand. The DAAD as a university organization and the Federal Ministry of Education and Research (BMBF) see this programme as a contribution to the training of Japan experts in business, administration and industry.

The Jordanian state university is offering internships in the field of international affairs for THM students for various periods over the next year. The areas of responsibility include, among other things, the supervision of international students and the help with promotional materials. Accepted interns can also apply for a scholarship abroad, which must be submitted to the DAAD portal at least 32 calendar days before the start of the internship.

As part of the scholarship programme RISE Worldwide (Research Internships in Science and Engineering) conveys the DAAD research internships for Bachelor-students German universities and universities of applied sciences. The research internships in the Department Biology, chemistry, physics, geosciences and engineering, medicine, computer science and related disciplines are offered by research groups worldwide in the programme's own database. Applications are only possible for the projects listed there.
