ERASMUS+
In order to provide students with the best possible support in achieving their agreed learning goals, the European Commission has made it possible for universities and students to be more flexible in dealing with Erasmus+ stays abroad:
When participating in online courses:
If, due to the current situation, the Erasmus+ studies at the host institution abroad cannot be continued as part of face-to-face events, online courses are also recognized for Erasmus+ funding under the following conditions:
1) The online courses are offered by the receiving institution abroad. It is irrelevant whether the students attend the online courses in the host country or in their home country
and
2) The courses contribute to the achievement of the learning objectives as set out in the learning agreement.
In this context and under these overall special circumstances, with the confirmation of the stay abroad ("confirmation of stay") proceed as follows:
The THM informs the partner university that if the above requirements are met, the confirmation of the stay abroad for the entire study phase (Attendance phase and e-learning phase) should be issued.
If this is not possible under the given circumstances, have the entire stay confirmed as originally planned
or
issue a confirmation of the additionally completed e-learning phase in addition to an existing "confirmation of stay" about the attendance phase.
So far, Erasmus+ has given different advice with regard to the eligibility of online courses in the home country due to the basic legal situation. This is now during the Corona crisis - and only in view of it! - lapsed
In the event of termination or non-arrival of the stay
