The program aims to offer German graduates the opportunity to participate in a language- and practice-oriented program in Japan. Scholarship recipients will have the chance to learn Japanese from scratch and experience the country's culture and economy firsthand. The DAAD, as a higher education organization, and the Federal Ministry of Education and Research (BMBF) view this program as a contribution to the development of Japan experts in business, administration, and industry.

Within the framework of the RISE Worldwide (Research Internships in Science and Engineering) scholarship program, the DAAD arranges research internships for bachelor's students at German universities and universities of applied sciences. These internships, offered by research groups worldwide in the Departmentsof biology, chemistry, physics, geosciences and engineering, medicine, computer science, and related disciplines, are listed in the program's database. Applications are only accepted for the projects listed there.

Dear Students,

The National Agency for Erasmus+ Higher Education Cooperation at the DAAD is conducting a study on personality development and internationality in higher education during the 2022/23 academic year. In cooperation with the FernUniversität in Hagen, we recently launched the European research project Campus International 2022 , to which we cordially invite you to participate.

What is the goal of this study?

This study aims to investigate how young adults develop personally through experiences gained during their studies. A particular focus is on experiences with internationality during their studies – whether during a stay abroad or while studying in Germany.

Australia finally reopened its borders to doubly vaccinated international students in December. After 20 months of uncertainty, GOstralia/GOzealand, together with Australian universities, is celebrating this historic occasion by awarding numerous full and 50% partial scholarships, independent of grades, for a semester abroad starting in the winter semester of 2022 or the summer semester of 2023.

As part of the RISE Worldwide (Research Internships in Science and Engineering) scholarship program, the German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD) is again arranging research internships around the world for 2022. Among others, Bachelor's students from their second semester onwards in the Departmentsof natural sciences , engineering , medicine , pharmacy , psychology , and computer science at German universities and universities of applied sciences are eligible to apply. Master's students are unfortunately not eligible to apply. Scholarship recipients receive a monthly DAAD stipend and a travel allowance (both dependent on the destination country), as well as health, accident, and liability insurance.

Application period for internships worldwide: November 1, 2021 to December 15, 2021
