That Incoming Team accompanies you with the programme Welcome & Stay International and provides advice and support Outgoing-Team It offers you specific information on subject-related international experience during your studies – from summer internships to full semesters abroad.

Welcome to THM!
We at the International Office are setting up a WELCOME DAY There you will learn more about important topics such as:
- Course structure and organization of studies
- Support and learning opportunities
- Tips and experiences from other international students
- Information about your visa and stay during your studies
Regardless of your place of study, the Welcome Day takes place on Giessen Campus instead of.
You can also ask all your questions. We look forward to your participation!

The Welcome Day is aimed at international bachelor and master students in the first semester. This applies regardless of whether you completed your first degree abroad or in Germany. You will receive information and tips for your studies at THM.
This event is not aimed at exchange students. There is an additional Orientation Day for you.
ACCOMMODATION | Accommodation in Giessen and Friedberg
It's best to look for a room or apartment in Giessen , Friedberg, or the surrounding area before starting your studies. It's common for students to live in a private room, a shared apartment, or a student residence.
