Would you like to gain experience in the German job market during your studies through a working student position or a student job? Is your internship coming up? We want to support you and offer individual consulting for a successful start to your career. Together, we will discuss your personal career steps, depending on where you are in your studies. Whether it's a student job, an internship, or a permanent position – our coaching program is right for you.

What added value do I gain from InternationalTalents@THMprofession?

The "InternationalTalents@THMprofession" programme offers you comprehensive advising and coaching. All you need to participate is time and motivation. In an initial consultation, we will determine your individual profile and define the next steps together. The goal agreement includes, among other things, advising sessions and participation in workshops for your career preparation. This allows you to strategically expand your portfolio. Together, we will explore suitable opportunities and maintain contact throughout the coaching process. At the end of the semester, you will receive a certificate recognizing your extracurricular engagement.

Initial consultation & goal setting: You arrange a meeting with us This email address is protected against spambots! JavaScript must be enabled to view it!If you have them, you can bring your application documents with you. We will jointly define your next steps in a goal agreement.

Workshops | Modules | Events: At THM , you have a wide range of interesting events to choose from. Participating in modules, block courses, workshops, information sessions, trade fairs, conferences, and networking events increases your chances of success on the German job market. Existing offerings are continuously developed in cooperation with internal partners – the Language Center, university library , and the Central students advisory service – and external partners – the university team of the Federal Employment Agency and STUBE Hessen.

Feedback & Reflection: How has it gone so far? What are your next steps? What did you enjoy, and what's still missing? In our second meeting, we'll reflect on the events you've already attended, clarify any remaining questions, and plan your next steps.

Portfolio: You have attended events and received consultations. Your portfolio documents your engagement and provides a compelling template for your application documents.
