Arrival by car

From the north, towards Kassel:
Take the A5 and exit at Reiskirchen. Drive approximately 7 km along the B49 and Grünberger Straße to Berliner Platz (city center). At the traffic light (Ludwigsplatz, in front of the rooftop café in the high-rise building), turn right onto Berliner Platz (bus stops). At the next traffic light, turn right onto Ostanlage THM building B11 is on the right .

From the north, towards Marburg:
From the B3 at the Giessen North interchange, take the Giessen Ring (A485) towards Frankfurt. Take the "Licher Straße" exit, turn left towards the city center, continue straight for approximately 1.7 km until you reach the Grünberger Straße intersection, turn left onto Grünberger Straße, and after 300 m, at the second traffic light (Ludwigsplatz, in front of the rooftop café in the high-rise building), turn right onto Berliner Platz (bus stops). At the next traffic light, turn right onto Ostanlage THM building B11 is on the right .

From the east, towards Lich and Büdingen,
take the B457 (Licher Straße) straight ahead towards the town center until you reach the intersection with Grünberger Straße. Turn left onto Grünberger Straße and after 300 meters, at the second traffic light (Ludwigsplatz, in front of the rooftop café in the high-rise building), turn right onto Berliner Platz (bus stops). At the traffic light, turn right onto Ostanlage THM building B11 is on the right .

From the southeast, towards Hanau/Würzburg,
take the A45 to the Gambacher Kreuz interchange. Keep right and follow the signs for the A5 towards "Kassel, Hannover, Erfurt". Continue on the A5, take the "Fernwald" exit, turn right onto the B457, and drive straight ahead to Giessen . In Giessen , drive approximately 2.6 km towards the city center until you reach the intersection with Grünberger Straße. Turn left onto Grünberger Straße, keep right, and after 300 m, at the second traffic light (Ludwigsplatz, in front of the rooftop café in the high-rise building), turn right onto Berliner Platz (bus stops). At the traffic light, turn right onto Ostanlage THM building B11 is on the right .

From the south, towards Friedberg/
Frankfurt: Take the A5 to the Gambacher Kreuz interchange, then continue on the A5 (follow signs towards "Kassel, Hannover, Erfurt"), take the "Fernwald" exit, turn right onto the B457, and continue straight on to Giessen . In Giessen drive approximately 2.6 km towards the city center until you reach the intersection with Grünberger Straße. Turn left onto Grünberger Straße, keep right, and after 300 m, at the second set of traffic lights (Ludwigsplatz, in front of the rooftop café in the high-rise building), turn right onto Berliner Platz. At the traffic lights, turn right onto Ostanlage ; after 250 m, building B11 is on the right.

From the west, towards Wetzlar, Herborn:
, take the "Wetzlar Ost" exit towards Lahnau/ Giessen Giessen , Giessen Ring" exit, drive approximately 2.2 km on the B429 to the "Stadtmitte" (city center) exit, turn right onto Heuchelheimer Straße towards the city center, cross the Lahn River, go under the railway line, then turn right onto the inner city ring road into Westanlage. Go under the "Elefantenklo" (Selterstor) pedestrian overpass and continue on Südanlage. At the Berliner Platz intersection (you will see the city theater on the left, the congress hall on the right), go straight ahead at the traffic lights into Ostanlage THM building B11 is on the right .

Parking:
Behind buildings B10 and B11 are THM -owned parking spaces. THM visitors may park in these spaces. Please ring the bell at the barrier.

From Giessen train station you can reach THMin about 15 minutes by taxi or bus.

Bus lines from the train station:
Line 2 (Berliner Platz stop),
Lines 5 and 15 ( Behördenzentrum stop),
Line 24 (towards Wetzlar, Stadttheater stop).

Berliner Platz" bus stop,
walk 50 meters back in the opposite direction of the bus's travel to the intersection, turn right at the traffic light across Berliner Platz, and continue straight ahead into Ostanlage THM building B11 is on the right .

Bus stop "Regierungszentrum" (Government Center):
From the bus stop, walk in the direction the bus was traveling; after 150 m, building B11 of the THM .

From the Stadttheater bus stop,
walk 50 meters against the direction of travel until you reach the intersection. At the traffic light, Ostanlage and turn left. After 200 meters, the THM .

Start at the regional train station at the airport: Terminal 1, Level -1. From there, take the train to Frankfurt Central Station, change trains to Giessen .

City bus lines from the train station: Line 2 (Berliner Platz stop), lines 5 and 15 ( Behördenzentrum stop), line 24 (towards Wetzlar, Stadttheater stop).

Berliner Platz bus stop : From the "Berliner Platz" bus stop, walk 50 meters back in the opposite direction of the bus's travel to the intersection, turn right at the traffic light across Berliner Platz and continue straight ahead into Ostanlage THM building B11 is on the right .

1. Leave the airport towards Würzburg (A3) and Kassel/Basel (A5)
2. At the Frankfurt am Main Airport North interchange onto the Frankfurter Kreuz interchange
3. Take the A5 towards Kassel (Kassel/Frankfurt-West)
4. A5 to Gambacher Kreuz
5. A45 towards Dortmund (Dortmund/Wetzlar/Marburg/ Giessen )
6. A45 to Giessen Südkreuz
7. A485 towards Marburg (Langgöns (B3)/Marburg/ Giessen /Linden)
8. Take the "Schiffenberger Weg" exit. Turn right and continue straight ahead for 2.4 km towards the city center (via Schiffenberger Weg and Bismarckstraße). At the end of Bismarckstraße, turn right onto Südanlage, then continue straight ahead at the traffic lights onto Ostanlage. After 250 m, the THMbuilding B11 will be on your right.
