arriving by car

From the north, towards Kassel
From the A5, take the Reiskirchen exit, drive about 7 km along the B49 and Grünberger Straße to Berliner Platz (city center). At the traffic lights (Ludwigsplatz, in front of the Dachcafé skyscraper) turn right onto Berliner Platz (bus stops). At the following traffic light, turn right into Ostanlage . After 250 m you will see building B11 of the THM on the right.

From the north, towards Marburg
Drive from the B3 at the Gießener Nordkreuz onto the Gießen Ring ( Gießen ) in the direction of Frankfurt. Take the “Licher Strasse” exit, turn left towards the city center, drive straight ahead for about 1.7 km to the Grünberger Strasse intersection, turn left into Grünberger Strasse, after 300 m turn right at the 2nd traffic light (Ludwigsplatz, in front of the Dachcafé high-rise building). drive to Berliner Platz (bus stops). At the following traffic light, turn right into the Ostanlage , after 250 m you will see building B11 of the THM on the right.

From the east, towards Lich, Büdingen
Drive straight ahead on the B457 (Licher Straße) in the direction of the city center to the Grünberger Straße intersection, turn left into Grünberger Straße, after 300 m at the 2nd traffic light (Ludwigsplatz, in front of the Dachcafé high-rise building) turn right onto Berliner Platz (bus stops). Turn right at the traffic light into the Ostanlage , after 250 m you will see building B11 of the THM on the right.

From the south-east towards Hanau, Würzburg
Drive on the A45 to Gambacher Kreuz, keep right there and follow the signs on the A5 in the direction of "Kassel, Hannover, Erfurt", drive on the A5, take the "Fernwald" exit, turn right onto the B457, go straight to Gießen . In Gießen , drive about 2.6 km in the direction of the city center to the Grünberger Straße intersection, turn left into Grünberger Straße, keep right, after 300 m at the 2nd traffic light (Ludwigsplatz, in front of the Dachcafé high-rise building) turn right onto Berliner Platz (bus stops). Turn right at the traffic light into the Ostanlage , after 250 m you will see building B11 of the THM on the right.

From the south, direction Friedberg, Frankfurt
Take the A5 to Gambacher Kreuz, then continue on the A5 (follow the signs for "Kassel, Hannover, Erfurt", take the "Fernwald" exit, turn right onto the B457, go straight on to Gießen . In Gießen , head towards the city center for about 2.6 km Drive to the Grünberger Straße intersection, turn left into Grünberger Straße, keep right, after 300 m at the 2nd traffic light (Ludwigsplatz, in front of the Dachcafé skyscraper) turn right onto Berliner Platz At the traffic light, turn right into Ostanlage , after 250 m Building B11 is on the right.

From the west, towards Wetzlar, Herborn
From the A45, take the “Wetzlar Ost” exit in the direction of Lahnau/ Gießen , drive about 8 km on the B49, take the “Wettenberg, Heuchelheim, Gießen , Gießen er Ring” exit, on the B429 for about 2.2 km to the “Stadtmitte” exit drive, turn right on Heuchelheimer Straße in the direction of the city center, cross the Lahn, drive under the train, then turn right onto the inner city ring road into the Westanlage. Pass under the pedestrian crossing "Elefantenklo" (Selterstor) and continue on the Südanlage. At the Berliner Platz intersection (on the left you can see the Stadttheater, on the right the Kongresshalle) drive straight ahead at the traffic lights into the Ostanlage , after 250 m you will see building B11 of the THM on the right.

Park
There are THM parking spaces behind buildings B10 and B11. THM visitors can park in these parking lots. Please ring the bell at the barrier.

You can reach the THM in about 15 minutes by taxi or bus from Gießen train station.

Bus lines from the train station
Line 2 (Berliner Platz stop)
Lines 5 and 15 (stop at the authorities center)
Line 24 (direction Wetzlar, Stadttheater stop).

Berliner Platz stop
From the "Berliner Platz" bus stop, walk 50 m in the opposite direction of the bus to the intersection, turn right at the traffic lights across Berliner Platz and straight ahead into Ostanlage . After 200 meters you will see building B11 of the THM on the right.

Public authority center stop
Walk from the bus stop in the direction of travel of the bus, after 150 m you will see building B11 of the THM on the right.

Stadttheater stop
Walk 50 m in the opposite direction of the bus to the crossroads. At the traffic light, go straight across Ostanlage and turn left. After 200 meters you will see building B11 of the THM on the right.

Start at the airport from the regional train station: Terminal 1, level -1. From there drive to Frankfurt main station, change to Gießen .

From Gießen train station you can reach the THM in about 15 minutes by taxi or city bus.
City bus lines from the train station: line 2 (Berliner Platz stop), lines 5 and 15 (authority center stop), line 24 (direction Wetzlar, Stadttheater stop).

3. Take the A5 towards Kassel (Kassel/Frankfurt-West).
4. A5 to Gambacher Kreuz
5. A45 towards Dortmund (Dortmund/Wetzlar/Marburg/ Gießen )
6. A45 to Gießen he Südkreuz
7. A485 towards Marburg (Langgöns (B3)/Marburg/ Gießen /Linden)
8. Exit "Schiffenberger Weg". Turn right, drive 2.4 km straight towards the city center (via Schiffenberger Weg, Bismarckstraße). At the end of Bismarckstrasse, turn right into Südanlage, at the traffic lights go straight ahead into Ostanlage , after 250 m you will see THM building B11 on the right.
