The foundation was founded in 2009 jointly by the Gießen-Friedberg University of Applied Sciences (since March 2011: Technische Hochschule Mittelhessen) and the regional economy. The aim of the foundation is to promote applied science and research as well as technology transfer between the university and industry, municipalities and associations in Central Hesse.

The Stiftung fit
