As the first university of applied sciences in Germany, THM independently award the Dr.-Ing. . With the establishment of the THM for the specialization Life Science Engineering (PZI LSE) in 2019, THM the right to conduct independent doctoral programs for the Dr.-Ing. .
These doctoral programs are conducted under the leadership of THM within the framework of the Doctoral Center for Engineering Sciences at the Research Campus of Central Hessen (PZI).
