Creativity meets technical precision and social commitment: In this Master's program in Architecture, you will focus on complex design and planning processes. The program emphasizes sustainable building, urban planning, innovative construction methods, and interdisciplinary projects. What makes this program unique is the integration of current urban construction projects into the curriculum. You will work on concrete, real-world challenges in collaboration with municipalities, government agencies, associations, or private clients.

Develop your analytical and design skills and learn to manage projects independently. Modern studios, laboratories, and a model-making workshop are available for your project work. You will benefit from intensive and individualized support from our professors. Furthermore, you will have the opportunity to gain new inspiration through national and international excursions.

Studies

Each semester, students work on a complex design project, choosing from three different projects led by various professors. These projects cover the areas of urban planning, building construction, and existing building design.

The Department provides laboratories, a model-making workshop, and student studios. Here, students find the necessary equipment to work on their projects using modern technology. Teaching is characterized by intensive and individualized support from the professors.

Students also have the opportunity to participate in excursions both domestically and internationally. The curriculum's focus provides graduates with excellent prospects for contributing to construction projects in leading positions regionally, nationally, and globally, and applying the experience gained during their studies.

The following is a list of the courses offered in the degree program. The numbers indicate the weekly workload of the course or the credit points you will receive for successful completion. A total of 120 credit points must be earned.
