In the Bachelor's program Business Administration and Engineering students acquire skills that enable them to develop practical solutions that meet both technical and business requirements. This means that industrial engineers study interdisciplinarily, across disciplines, in the fields of engineering and business administration. As a result, they can assume diverse roles in companies across various industries, working at the interface between the commercial and technical sectors.
At StudiumPlus, students can choose between four innovative and sought-after fields of study: mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, sales and medical technology.
Studies
Study progress
In the three-and-a-half-year dual Bachelor's degree program, theory (at the university) and practice (during the time spent at the company) alternate. The program begins with an introductory phase in August, during which students become familiar with the company and its operations and processes. Lectures for the first semester begin in October. Practical phases place after the first, second, and third semesters. Following the fourth semester, the fifth semester offers the opportunity for individual specialization or a semester abroad. The sixth semester is followed by project-based learning. Apart from two-day theory modules at StudiumPlus, students work at their partner company, tackling larger projects. The seventh semester begins with the practical component of the thesis at the company. This is followed by theoretical block modules at the university. In the final month of the program, students prepare for the colloquium, which takes place at the end of the studies, while working at the company.

distribution
The field of sales encompasses all activities, tasks, and methods focused on successful sales – and, as the link between companies and customers, is crucial for business success. In industries with complex products and services, the focus is on selecting and developing economic and technical solutions for the customer, as well as supporting the implementation of these solutions. Successful sales therefore require an interdisciplinary range of business and engineering knowledge and skills, as well as methodological, social, and intercultural competence. Students are specifically trained for demanding work and future leadership roles in technical sales and sales management.
