Studies
Study progress
The standard period of study is three semesters, divided into two semesters of theoretical study and one semester for the Master's thesis. The program is offered in a block format, meaning that approximately every other calendar week, two to three-day blocks (a total of six days per month) take place at THM . As a dual study program, the learning locations of the university and the workplace alternate. Practical training at the workplace is provided through project work.
In the dual Master'sDegree Courses, the theoretical phases are generally divided into three-day blocks, usually taking place from Thursday to Saturday. The project phases are conducted additionally during the lecture period, spanning multiple semesters. The first project phase runs parallel to the first semester. The second project phase encompasses the entire second semester. In the third semester, in addition to two theoretical modules, the Master's thesis is written, culminating in a colloquium.

Business process management
Master's students specializing in Business Process Management acquire valuable skills in business process management. Technical processes
The Technical Processes specialization imparts knowledge and skills in the core process of "innovation." A key focus is the acquisition and preservation of intellectual property. This includes operational design options (patenting) as well as overarching measures (knowledge management). Another focus is the in-depth study of primary technical processes—specifically, the interrelationships of individual technical disciplines within complete systems. Graduates are primarily employed in the organization of a company's entire innovation process. The acquired knowledge and competencies in engineering and technical contexts are intended to accelerate and facilitate decision-making and innovation.
