Study progress
In the three-and-a-half-year dual Bachelor's degree program, theory (at the university) and practice (during the time spent at the company) alternate. The program begins with an introductory phase in August, during which students become familiar with the company and its operations and processes. Lectures for the first semester begin in October. Practical phases place after the first, second, and third semesters. Following the fourth semester, the fifth semester offers the opportunity for individual specialization or a semester abroad. The sixth semester is followed by project-based learning. Apart from two-day theory modules at StudiumPlus, students work at their partner company, tackling larger projects. The seventh semester begins with the practical component of the thesis at the company. This is followed by theoretical block modules at the university. In the final month of the program, students prepare for the colloquium, which takes place at the end of the studies, while working at the company.
