Mathematical formulas are used extensively in banks, insurance companies and all kinds of commercial enterprises. Using these successfully requires a deep understanding of mathematical methods. Business mathematician duties that are in great demand, such as modelling, planning and problem solving, require an analytical approach.
The goal of the undergraduate course in Business Mathematics is to provide students with these qualifications. After learning the foundations of mathematics, students become familiar with the main applications of mathematics in business.
