The part-time course in Energy Efficiency Management offers engineers with work experience the opportunity to earn a postgraduate degree that focuses on energy efficiency both at companies and in building management. Students acquire the technical knowledge, learn the methods and develop the skills relevant for power engineering and earn a Master of Science (M.Sc.) degree on completion of the two-year course. The course offers a high academic qualification for managerial duties graduates can assume in their continuing career paths.
Procedures and methods used for energy efficiency in plants and facilities are taught in specialization modules. In their engineering modules, students also learn modern, efficient methods used in energy conversion to supply electric and thermal energy with and without combined heat and power as well as energy storage In addition to conventional energy sources, renewable energy sources play a significant role.
