In the coop programme's undergraduate course in Engineering - Electrical Engineering students learn to recognize engineering tasks and issues and to find solutions for these problems by employing an expert knowledge of the subject and relevant methods. Students also learn to implement the technologies currently available in electrical engineering in the best possible way and optimize these technologies.
The course builds on a broad spectrum of core engineering and natural science subjects and combines these with modern specializations oriented to the following fields: General Electrical Engineering and Computer Engineering.
In the first year and a half traditional foundation subjects in electrical engineering represent the predominant modules, including mathematics, physics, foundations of electrical engineering, transformations, microcomputer technology, digital technology and electronics. From the end of year two students deepen their knowledge by concentrating on application oriented modules in their chosen specialization.
