The development of all business sectors is characterized by highly specialized processes and highly specialized personnel. In this context, it is becoming increasingly difficult to find the right solutions for tasks and problems at the interface of engineering and business. A specialist in engineering management is an engineer who has a nearly equal amount of training in both natural sciences & engineering disciplines and in law and business administration topics. This specialist is able to recognize relevant business, engineering and socially relevant questions and make a positive contribution in finding answers to these. In this regard societal and ethical insights are taken into consideration. Students can select from among three specializations: Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering and Life Cycle Management.
