The Technische Hochschule Mittelhessen with its three locations in Friedberg, Gießen and Wetzlar is conveniently located in the middle of Germany in the immediate vicinity of the economically strong Rhine-Main region.

The history of the teaching institution goes back to the 19th century. Since the University of Applied Sciences was founded in 1971, its members have continuously developed the study programme and infrastructure at the Gießen and Friedberg locations. A current milestone in this future-oriented process: the conversion of the entire range of courses to the international study system with bachelor's and master's degrees.

StudiumPlus with the location in Wetzlar and branch offices in Bad Wildungen, Bad Hersfeld, Bad Vilbel, Biedenkopf, Frankenberg and Limburg is a full university degree plus professional experience. The students are enrolled at the Technical University of Central Hesse and at the same time have a study contract with a company in the region.
