Under the motto "Blue Lights Meet Campus," the Technical University of Mittelhessen (THM) and the Friedberg Fire Department invite you to a Fire Service Action Day on Wednesday, October 22, from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. The day is intended to provide students, employees, and anyone else interested with practical insight.

On the campus in Friedberg, visitors can experience emergency vehicles up close and try on their own emergency gear on an obstacle course. The day offers information about the fire department's responsibilities, technology, and operational areas. Volunteering and how interested parties can get involved will also play a role. Firefighters will be available at an information booth to answer questions.

Food and drink will also be provided at a barbecue station operated by the Friedberg Fire Department. The event is aimed at anyone interested in technology, safety, and the dedication of the fire department—or simply seeking practical insight. With this action day, the THM together with the Friedberg Fire Department, aims to raise awareness of the work of the fire department and, at the same time, spark interest in getting involved.
