The University of Applied Sciences' International Office invites you to the opening of the exhibition "Insights: Portraits of International Students" on Sunday, January 31, at 5:00 p.m. in the Hugo-von-Ritgen-Haus (Südanlage 6) in Giessen .

The exhibition opening will be accompanied by music from the C.ha.os Choir Giessen – Collegium Harmoniae Oscillantis – conducted by Johannes Becker, who will perform a broad cross-section of early and modern choral works. Their repertoire ranges from early Baroque madrigals to Classical and Romantic works to pop songs, with room for international folk music as well. "Ten Up" will offer an artistic and playful answer to the question of what love songs have to do with acrobatics: Lifting and floating, or falling and clawing? Also performing will be "Die 3 Otteure," a vocal trio from Staufenberg, singing rapturous, funny, tender, and yearning love songs from the "good old days."

The poster exhibition, which can be seen from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. until March 15, presents international students from countries such as Estonia, India, Cameroon, Brazil, Iran and Turkey. Which way did they go? How do you experience studying and living here? And how do they find their place in the university community?

Admission to the opening event and the exhibition is free.
