Andre Althaus, Jan Klein and Antoine Wette have won the first short film competition of the Technische Hochschule Mittelhessen . The three students received the EUR 1,500 prize after the public presentation of the competition entries at the TH in Friedberg. Your film "Wissen creates" tells of student life at the university.

The second prize (1000 euros) went to Sergej Holzmann for a time-lapse film about research institutions in central and southern Hesse. Oliver Kulas received two third prizes for a film about the Marburg researcher Emil von Behring and Hans Christian Arlt, Andreas Fiedler and Kai Krause, who had submitted a contribution on the subject of learning.

The TH had called on its students and employees to take part in the competition with films on the subject of "Science in and from Hesse". Feature film, documentary film or comic were possible. The jury consisted of three internationally renowned filmmakers, Petra Seeger, Silvia Holziger and Peter Haas. The “Friends and Sponsors of THM in Friedberg” supported the competition. It will be advertised again next year.
