Painter Barbara Rhode presents a selection of her paintings. The Technische Hochschule Mittelhessen in Friedberg invites visitors on a "journey of discovery into communicative worlds of color." There, the painter Barbara Rhode will present a selection of her works. The Mainz-based artist studied in the USA, among other places, and has exhibited primarily in Rhineland-Palatinate and Hesse.

Her work is characterized by a consistent exploration of both the expressive possibilities of color and systems of order, such as those offered by geometry. Her interest lies primarily in depicting contrasts—for example, complementary color pairs—and establishing a relationship between them through composition.

The exhibition, for which Barbara Rhode also created a special series on the theme of "coffee cups," is organized by the "Friends and Supporters of the Technische Hochschule Mittelhessen in Friedberg." As part of the "TH Kultur" initiative, the exhibition can be seen on campus on Wilhelm-Leuschner-Straße until July 13.
