"The Rilke Dance Project" is a performance by the Giessen City Theatre at the Technische Hochschule Mittelhessen . The Giessen Dance Company, actors from the Alte Feuerwache Theatre in Bad Nauheim, and musicians from the Hessian jazz scene embark together on a journey exploring the life and work of the poet Rainer Maria Rilke.

In this interdisciplinary art project, the participants comment on and interpret Rilke's poems in their own unique ways. Through lectures, dance, performance, and music, they approach the texts in various constellations.

“The Rilke Dance Project” will take place on May 15th and 22nd at 7:30 pm in the auditorium of the TH Mittelhessen in Giessen (Building C 14, Eichgärtenallee 3). Tickets are available from 7:00 pm at the door for 9 euros (5 euros for students).
