Opening of a hitherto unique art event at the University of Applied Sciences in FriedbergMany guests and university members took part in the opening of a hitherto unique art event at the FH in Friedberg. For around three months, the artist Gabriele Heinz from Butzbach will be working on a 15 square meter painting entitled "Color Rush" at the university during the event.

Vice President Axel Schumann-Luck opened the campaign with a greeting from the presidium S and pointed out the tradition of the "FH culture" exhibition series. The rather technically oriented university keeps making connections to artistic disciplines. The "color frenzy", a work that is also clearly visible from the outside, will illustrate the opening of the university for everyone interested in the upper foyer of the FH new building. Like the association of sponsors and friends of the university of applied sciences in Friedberg, the department is one of the initiators of the project for the Department of mathematics, natural sciences and data processing. His dean Prof. Klaus Behler discussed the close relationship between technology/science and art in his opening speech. He sees it to convey an obligation for the university, engineers and engineers in their training. Only specialists with creativity are able to develop and implement innovative ideas.

In her remarks, Gabriele Heinz emphasized her long-standing relationship with the Friedberg University of Applied Sciences. With the support of members of the university, she was able to develop ideas and translate them into bronze sculptures during an earlier creative phase. In the foundry at that time, she was able to create both everyday objects and abstract sculptures, and she always found the Giessen process an exciting part of artistic creation. The artist sees the current project as Further continuation of this earlier collaboration. After an "art walk" that led visitors past her exhibits, she presented the concept of her painting with a large-scale design at the location of the future event.

The initiators of the campaign, the university and the artist invite students and all interested parties to experience the creation of this work of art and to view the works by Gabriele Heinz on the Friedberg campus of the university of applied sciences (Wilhelm-Leuschner-Straße 13). The painter can be found on Fridays between 4 p.m. and 6 p.m. on the first floor (room H 01.01) of the new building at work on the "color frenzy".
