Live music and dancing in a festive atmosphere: On Friday, November 14, 2025, the Technical University of Central Hesse (THM) will once again transform the Giessen Congress Hall into a ballroom starting at 6:30 p.m. Tickets are currently still available at a discounted early bird price.

President Prof. Dr. Matthias Willems is already looking forward to the ball: "We invite everyone to our annual celebration. Our guests can expect a varied programme. We will also honor student athletes and international students at THM for their achievements."

The university's ball night begins with Willems' opening at 7:30 p.m. Once again, the six-member gala orchestra "Transatlantic Band" will provide atmospheric dance music. The musical repertoire ranges from Viennese waltzes and well-known ballroom dance tunes to disco classics. The "Gastropaten" team, the congress hall's caterer, is responsible for the catering.

Tickets for the THM Ball are only available in advance via the two THM InfoCenters in Giessen and Friedberg as well as online at go.thm.de/thm-ball Early bird tickets are available until October 24th for €26, and students pay €16. From October 25th, the regular ticket price is €34, and for students, €21. Included is a champagne reception at the beginning of the evening. Doors open at 6:30 p.m.
