"Meet the Company" is the name of the company fair organized by the "Association for the Promotion of Studies and Business" at the Giessen -Friedberg University of Applied Sciences. On May 4th, representatives from 17 companies met with students and university professors. The discussions covered not only career opportunities and job openings, but also the possibility of participating in projects, completing internships, and finding topics for theses.

Prof. Dr. Horst-Dieter Geuting, Dean of the Giessen Department of Economics, explained in his welcoming address that this initiative was about "networking." The aim was to build a network of relationships between the university and industry, which could benefit students during their academic studies and graduates in their professional development.

He stated that the university is among the leaders nationwide in the introduction of business administration bachelor's and master's degree courses . A wide range of elective specializations allows for individualized study programmes. Danne encouraged the students to utilize and cultivate the business contacts offered by the fair.
