Prof. Klaus Behler (right) presented current research results at the trade fair.At the “W3+FAIR for Optics, Electronics and Mechanics”, the TH Mittelhessen presented itself with posters and exhibits and provided information about its range of courses. Among others, the central students advisory service and the THM- Centres of Competence for Optical Technologies and Systems were represented.

On "StudentDay" schoolchildren and students had the opportunity to talk to more than 160 exhibitors from ten countries about internships and starting a career. In a lecture, Martin Kuulmann gave information about studying at the THM.

The Competence Center for Optical Technologies and Systems presented the results of its application-oriented research and development. These included, for example, metallic and non-metallic exhibits that were manufactured in Friedberg using laser-based 3D printing processes. Prof. Dr. Klaus Behler, who looked after the THM trade fair stand, reported great interest from industry and association representatives in using the potential of the competence center. According to the university professor, students who visited the trade fair learned first-hand what prospects the physical technology course with a focus on laser technology and optics offers.
