The TH Mittelhessen presented itself as a partner of the regional industry and academic training center at the "W3+Fair" in Wetzlar. The trade fair for optics, electronics and mechanics offered the Centres of Competence for optical technologies and systems as well as for nanotechnology and photonics room to introduce themselves. Experimental setups for optical measurement technology, fiber-based communication technology, modern camera systems and holography as well as robotics were on display at the THMstand.

Pupils and students found out about study and career opportunities at the fair. THMprofessor Dr. For example, Klaus Behler provided information about studying physical technology with a focus on laser technology and optics. THM students used the fair to establish contacts with companies in the optical industry, electronics and precision mechanics.
