Prof. Dr. Peter Czermak has been appointed Adjunct Professor at Kansas State University, Manhattan (Kansas) since this semester. The faculty of the Department of Chemical Engineering at the American university unanimously approved his appointment. Czermak, who also continues to head the Institute for Biopharmaceutical Technology at the Giessen -Friedberg University of Applied Sciences, has been collaborating with his colleagues at the engineering faculty there for several years.In addition to his main position at the Giessen Department of Hospital and Medical Technology, Environmental and Biotechnology, the professor will also regularly hold lectures in the USA. One focus will be the cultivation of animal and plant cells from an engineering perspective.
As an Adjunct Professor, Czermak will have the opportunity to personally supervise master's and doctoral theses at Kansas State University. Students will be enrolled at Kansas State University.
