Prof. Dr. Yvonne Schober started working at the Technische Hochschule Mittelhessen . She teaches general and inorganic chemistry at the Department mathematics, natural sciences and computer science.
Yvonne Schober graduated from Justus Liebig University Giessen with a diploma in chemistry in 2006. She furthered her scientific qualifications with her doctorate ( Dr. rer. nat. at JLU. In her dissertation in General and Analytical Chemistry, she examined cell and tissue samples using various innovative mass spectrometry techniques.
From 2012 to 2016 she worked at the Philipps University of Marburg, where she performed analytical tasks with mass spectrometers in the central laboratory of the university hospital (Institute for Laboratory Medicine and Pathobiochemistry). She then went to an international technology company that produces analytical measuring devices. There she worked as a technical consultant and in customer training in the fields of chromatography and spectroscopy until she moved to THM .
Prof. Dr. Schober's previous scientific focus is on radiochemistry, nuclear medicine, nuclear technology, inorganic chemistry and instrumental analysis. As a long-time lecturer at THM , she has extensive experience in the academic training of young talent with scientific and technical qualifications.
