Photo: THMThe university's own programme perTHM accompanies promising young scientific young people to professorship at a university for applied sciences. With Prof. Dr.-ING Nadine Wills-Stroh, the first graduate took up her teaching at Business Administration and Engineering Department in Friedberg.

Nadine Wills-Stroh is no unknown at the Technische Hochschule Mittelhessen . Already from 2016 to 2022 she was Department degree coordinator for Business Administration and Engineering properties that is offered as a bachelor's degree and as a master's programme. During this time, she did her doctorate at the Bauhaus University Weimar during this time. Your work describes a model of needs -based service provision in facility management based on BIM (Building Information Modeling) and sensor technologies.

Her scientific career began with a bachelor's degree at the Gera-Eisenach University of Applied Sciences, which she connected a master's degree in Facility Management at the distance learning center of the THM in Friedberg. From 2010 to 2016, she had already gained experience in the real estate project development.

Nadine Wills-Stroh was finally funded from 2022 through the ProTHMprogramme, which implements the federal funding "FH Personal" for the Technical University of Mittelhessen. Industrial or business experience is required to accept a professorship at a university of applied sciences (HAW). University careers are therefore hardly possible. At the same time, many educational institutions find it difficult to win back potential lecturers from the business world. ProTHM is addressing this issue: Wills-Stroh, for example, remained employed at the Department Business Administration and Engineering for 30 percent of her time and gave lectures there. From 2022 until her appointment, however, she worked full-time at the Deutsche Bundesbank, where she worked as a CAFM data manager with management responsibility in the area of technical building operations.

The digitization of real estate operations is also a focus of your teaching at the THM. Prof. Wills-Stroh is a member of the Society for Real Estate Research and at “Eurofm Researcher”, where it is actively in scientific exchange and collaborative research activities in the field of facility management.
