Prof. Dr. Martin Strelow has taken up his position at the Technische Hochschule Mittelhessen in the Department Mechanical and Energy Engineering .Prof. Dr. Martin Strelow has taken up his post at the Technische Hochschule Mittelhessen . At the Department Mechanical and Energy Engineering in Giessen he focuses on the fields of power plant technology, energy storage technology, and plant design.

Martin Strelow completed his studies in mechanical engineering with a diploma from the Technical University of Braunschweig in 2007. He remained there as a research assistant and furthered his qualifications in 2013 by earning his doctorate in engineering Dr.-Ing. . In his dissertation on the topic of "Mineral Conversion in Combustion Plants," he investigated combustion processes and the formation of ash residues using simulation methods.

After a period as a management consultant for energy technology and energy economics issues at a Berlin-based consulting firm, he moved to a technology group in Stuttgart in 2014, where he assumed, among other things, the technical management of international power plant construction projects and responsible tasks in the field of process engineering. He was working there when he received the offer from THM .

Prof. Dr. Strelow's main scientific interests include numerical simulation and the application of artificial intelligence in all areas of energy production. His research focused on the development of products for exhaust gas purification. His scientific publications primarily address methods for simulating combustion processes.
