The experts evaluated visual aids, mobility and communication aids as well as learning aids as primary and created a preliminary list of 61 assistant devices.

As a representative of Central and Eastern Europe, Prof. Möhring also presents the recommendations in a focus group discussion with those affected and self-help groups from the region. The future list, the preliminary version of which was taken over by 23 development states, is the first extensive scientifically based compilation and is to be finalized by the end of 2025.

The 13-member Bliz team is developing teaching methods, new job profiles and specialist literature for people with disabilities and has already received national and international recognition several times. For this commitment, Prof. Möhring was also appointed to the Global South Research Foundation expert council, which is committed to fairer living conditions in the global south.
