Artificial intelligence (AI) is omnipresent and now permeates all areas of our lives. However, getting to the bottom of the AI ​​phenomenon isn't easy, as the concept is often surrounded by flowery descriptions. In our introductory course, you'll learn the fundamentals and applications of AI and machine learning, and you'll train an AI system yourself using an easy-to-use interface. By the end, you'll have a better understanding of the trend and what "artificial intelligence" actually means. If you'd like to delve deeper, the Giessen Makerspace offers the perfect conditions for your own experiments with AI systems. 

Important: No previous knowledge is necessary, as the course is intended for absolute beginners. Using a mix of theory, examples and interactive elements, you will be introduced to the topic of AI.

Please bring your own laptop. However, this is not necessary as we also have some computers available on site
