It's not always easy to switch off after a stressful week at work or study.
But have you ever heard of Shinrin Yoku? No?
In Japanese it means something like: "immersion in the forest atmosphere"

Would you like to rediscover your local forest and perceive it with its smells, sounds and colors in a completely different way? Do you want to leave all the stress of everyday life behind you at the end of the week and start the new week relaxed?

Then our offer is "Forest bathing" just right for you!

On Sunday, September 29th Kornelia Stöhr, relaxation educator and certified course leader for forest bathing, will rediscover the forests in Gießen together with you and other participants from 1:30 p.m. to 4:30 p.m.
Learn how you can make your future weekend walk more diverse and relaxing and enjoy the positive effects of the forest.

Please bring weatherproof clothing and suitable footwear as well as a blanket/towel so you can sit down and relax on the forest floor. You can also bring a warm drink to warm yourself up (tea, etc.) for yourself.

The dog should stay at home so that you can fully immerse yourself in the experience and not be distracted.

The course costs are €4; 6 € or 8 €, are added in each case 10 EUR deposit. If you participate, the deposit will not be charged.

location: Schiffenberg near Gießen (exact meeting point will be announced later)

Registration takes place via THM university sport
