Build furniture together & design the campus!

Do you want to actively shape your campus and leave a lasting mark? Then join our action day. “My place. My campus.” – a student building activity with music, drinks, and good cheer. Together, we'll assemble pre-prepared pallet furniture kits for the university's outdoor area behind building A15. The whole thing will be supervised, so no previous experience is necessary.

The construction project is part of the implementation of the student competition “Create a Difference”The goal of the competition was to develop ideas for redesigning the outdoor space behind the A15 motorway to enhance the quality of life and create a place for meeting, creative work, and relaxation. Sustainability and biodiversity were the focus. One element of the winning concept is pallet furniture, which is now being built in collaboration with students.

These highlights await you:

  • Get involved yourself: Build pallet furniture with prefabricated kits
  • Your work, your name: Each team receives an individualized wooden plaque for their finished piece of furniture
  • Barbecue afterwards with the AStA (only vegan food)
  • Music & drinks: for a good atmosphere and quick thirst quenching while building

What you should bring:

  • A cordless screwdriver (if available)
  • Motivation and fun in DIY
  • Clothes that can get dusty

A notice:
Participation is free, but registration is required so we can plan ahead.
