Practical tips, exercises and methods for a successful job interview

A job interview can be particularly challenging, especially for women. Am I allowed to ask any questions? Do I have to answer them all? There may be some differences here compared to an interview with male applicants. This workshop will specifically address this. Otherwise, everything remains the same:

You did it! Your application was successful, and you've been invited to the selection process. This joy may be mixed with excitement and nervousness. Many questions are swirling through your mind. You're probably wondering what to expect and how you can demonstrate to the interviewer that you're suitable.

Presenting yourself isn't easy for most people. Feedback from previous participants shows that with proper preparation, you can gain more confidence and structure in your conversation.

In the workshop we therefore want to consider together:

  • How can I prepare?
  • How does a typical conversation work and what questions should I expect?
  • How and what do I tell about myself?
  • Pure stress caused by gaps in your CV, a change of course or a long period of study? How do I talk about this?

Experience shows that, in addition to theoretical knowledge about job interviews, practicing your self-presentation is a key step toward success. Therefore, we'll practice short interview sequences and see how you can avoid mishaps and present yourself in the best possible light. Of course, there will also be ample opportunity to ask your questions.
