"Think outside the box! Mechanical engineering can do so much more than the automotive industry." Kenneth Schilbe completed his Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering Mechatronics at the Friedberg campus during the pandemic. As a mechanical engineer at KLA-Tencor MIE GmbH, the global market leader in inspection and measuring machines for the semiconductor industry with a branch in Weilburg, he regularly returns to THM . In the Alumni Career Talk, he shares stories from his time in Friedberg, his experiences from his daily work as an engineer at KLA, and offers helpful tips for starting a career as a mechanical engineer and mechatronics engineer—even outside the automotive industry.
