The word processing program Word offers useful functions for academic writing, such as styles and automatic tables of contents. In the course "Fit for Word," we show you how to effectively prepare your Word document for academic writing.

These topics are the main focus:

  • Form and format of your scientific work document
  • Table of contents, list of figures and list of tables
  • Headers and footers
  • References
  • (Formatting) sections
  • Important shortcuts
  • Caching

Participants who have already started creating their document with Word will have the opportunity to revise their template during the event. Participants who have not yet created a document can develop a basic structure for their document.
