Writing a scientific paper involves researching relevant literature. In the "Fit for the Thesis" event, we will show you how to plan, carry out and evaluate the research for your thesis.

These topics are in the foreground:

  • Analysis of your own literature needs
  • Search in THMfind, the search portal of the university library
  • Search in literature, full text and fact databases
  • Search in scientific search engines
  • search strategies
  • Rate the sources found
  • Backup the found sources

Students who already have a topic or an idea for a topic are given the opportunity to research their own topic and secure their results during the event. Students who do not yet have an idea are given tips on how to get an initial overview of current topics.

Please sign in. You will receive a confirmation after the registration period has expired.
