AGG - General Equal Treatment Act

The General Equal Treatment Act (AGG) of August 14, 2006 aims to prevent discrimination on grounds of discrimination

  • of race or ethnic origin,
  • of gender,
  • religion or belief,
  • a disability
  • of age or
  • sexual identity

to prevent or eliminate.

All employees of a public authority have the right to file a complaint informally if they feel discriminated against for any of the aforementioned reasons. (§ 13 AGG)
