For all departments of THM at the Gießen and Friedberg locations, we offer our students foreign language courses that serve as optimal preparation for using the foreign language at work. Our courses are carried out by qualified teaching staff and are tailored to the technical requirements of the departments and adapted to the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages ​​(CEFR).

In addition to the numerous compulsory and elective courses in English, students can take courses in Chinese, French and Spanish as well as German as a foreign language. We also offer preparatory courses for the Cambridge English: B2 First Certificate and give students the possibility of taking the Test of English for International Communication (TOEIC) at our institution.

The language center is a member of the working group of language centers, language teaching institutes and foreign language institutes (AKS).
