AGG - General Equal Treatment Act

The General Equal Treatment Act (AGG) of August 14, 2006 aims to eliminate discrimination for reasons

  • racial or ethnic origin,
  • of sex,
  • religion or belief,
  • a disability
  • of age or
  • of sexual identity

to prevent or eliminate.

All employees of a department have the right to complain informally if they feel disadvantaged because of one of the reasons mentioned. (§ 13 AGG)
